Solar Panels at Suncity Success Tower

Solar Panels at Suncity Success Tower

Synergy Wave System LLP has successfully installed 165 KW system on Suncity Success Tower and introduced clean energy with advanced technology. Read the full case study here:

What was the problem the client was facing?

A. Client's initial problem was increasing tariff from DISCOM & high electricity bills.

B. Space constraint due to a large number of equipment were installed at roof live AHU's fire tanks.

C. Client concern was also the load-bearing capacity of roof & water seapage from the roof due to anchoring of bolts on the roof.

How did Synergy solve it?

A. SWS provided the solution by installing SPP on PPA mode with very less tariff as compared to DISCOM & helped Suncity save approx. 10 lakh on an annual basis.

B. With optimised design solution for the installation of the solar module, we were able to utilize 100% of space with optimum generation.

C. We have used Al, Anodised MMS with the chemical pasting of Fly ash brick module on the roof, which is 50-60% lighter than conventional RCC column.

What all challenges Synergy faced while solving it?

1. Extensive research work & detailed feasibility study was done before the beginning of the project. It took a great team effort, immaculate planning and great execution to complete the whole project with efficient parameters, so as the cost burden is minimised for the developer.

2. Measures had to be taken for lifting the modules & other BOS materials from the ground to the rooftop with the help of machinery like hydra as the facility of service lift was limited & the installation was done on 7th floor.

Conclusion

The rooftop installation helped Suncity Success Tower save electricity charges of approximately 10 lakh per annum and enjoy the tax benefits offered on installing a solar power plant. The use of convenient and consistent solar energy resource also allowed the Suncity Success Tower to reduce the dependency on DISCOM and generators to generate electricity for the whole building. The minimal use of generators resulted in low fuel consumption drastically.
